Service Information
A 3D mould takes only a couple of minutes for each hand or foot and is perfectly safe. Your baby’s hand or foot is dipped into a warm, gentle material which quickly sets firm (but flexible). After a minute or two, the hand/foot slides out easily — and comes out completely clean.
The moulding mixture is made from natural seaweed, non-toxic, and biodegradable — safe for even the smallest newborns.
We have created 3D casts for babies just days old, and there is no age limit for parents. Many families choose this casting to celebrate motherhood, fatherhood, or to capture their first days together.
For impressions, we use ultra-soft terracotta clay. It is pain-free and takes only seconds, recommended for babies from 3–4 weeks and older. We usually allow around half an hour for appointments. For multiple casts or family combinations, more time may be needed.
Once your mould is taken, your completed frame is ready within approximately 3–5 weeks. Urgent orders may be fast-tracked at an additional cost.
